Learn to Highland Dance! Dancers will learn the foundations of highland technique in a fun and supportive environment.
No prior dance experience necessary.
Learn to Highland Dance! Returning primary and new beginner students will continue working on the fundamentals of the traditional dances: Fling and and Sword.Just for the laddies! New and returning dancers are welcome in this class, intended for young men, those who identifying as men, and gender nonconforming individuals.For competitive and recreational Pre-Premier dancers. This class will focus on highland technique and the traditional highland dances: Fling, Sword, Seann Triubhas, and Reel, as well as two National dances: Lilt and Flora.This class focuses on championship and premiership dances, advanced highland and national technique, as well as the two character dances: jig and hornpipe. For dancers competing at the Intermediate or Premier level, or by instructor permission.

For competitive Pre-Premier dancers. This class will focus on highland technique and the traditional highland dances: Fling, Sword, Seann Triubhas, and Reel, as well as two National dances: Lilt and Flora.Mixed-level class for adult dancers, from the comfort of your home.

TUITION & TUITION POLICIES

  • Tuition is paid monthly online via Dance Studio Pro or Venmo. Prompt payment is expected and dancers/families will be assigned a $10 late fee for tuition that is overdue by more than one week.
  • Absences without advanced notice will be charged tuition for the class, regardless of attendance. Absences with notice to the instructor (see dance studio policies) will not be charged tuition for the missed class. If the instructor cancels class for inclement weather, illness, or for any other reason, tuition will not be charged. 
  • Competitive dancers must enroll in a minimum of 1 class/week.
  • 45-min classes are $15 per class, 60-min classes are $20 per class, 90-minute classes are $30 per class. Families enrolling more than one student receive a discount of $5 per week. Ex – A family with 2 students each taking a 1 hour class would pay $35. 
  • Private or semi-private lessons are available at the discretion and availability of the teacher at a rate of $40 per hour (Zoom) or $50* per hour (in-person, price subject to change based on space rental costs).
